ADAMS, J. PEARL (KING) - The death of J. Pearl (King) Adams, who recently turned 100 in February, of Kings Way Care Center, Quispamsis, occurred on Tuesday March 4th, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1908 in Grates Cove, Newfoundland she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Avery. She is survived by son, Norman King (Carole) of New River Beach; one granddaughter, Jocelyn Hanley (William) of Back Bay; two great grandchildren, Arielle and Madaline Hanley. Besides her parents she was predeceased by first husband Stanley King, second husband Clarence Adams; and daughter Doreen King. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Friday March 7th, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday March 8th, 2008 at 10 am. Following cremation, Interment will take place in Newfoundland at a later date.
