Passed suddenly, but peacefully away at the Hoyles Home on July 25, 2008, age 72 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife, Helen (nee Bailey); his children: Dennis (Patricia), Pauline Byrne (John), Pat (Darlene), Sheila Bartlett (Tom), Rita Kennedy (John), Mike and Gerard (Dawn); grandchildren: Kate Hearn, Heather and Jonathan Byrne, Kim and Chris Hearn, Michael (Madelyn), Melissa and Erin Bartlett, Sean and Brian Kennedy, Julia Hearn, and his great-grandson Lukas Bartlett; brothers: Ed (Mary) and Will (Susan); his in-laws: Ed Bailey, George Bailey, Dave Bailey, Elsie Legge, Liz Antle, Terri Bailey, Bonnie Bailey and families; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, as well as the staff and residents of 2N Hoyles Home. Predeceased by his parents, Bride and Dave Hearn; sisters: Pauline (Ross) Worthman and Marie Hearn, his granddaughter Jacqueline Kennedy; and his brother-in-law Wayne Bailey. Resting at CAUL'S FUNERAL HOME, TORBAY. Visitation on Saturday, July 26th from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday, July 27th, from 12 noon - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, July 28, 2008 at 10 a.m. from Holy Trinity Church, Torbay. Interment to follow at the R.C. Cemetery, Bauline Line, Torbay. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory can be made to the H.
