MACDONALD, MELANIE - The death of Melanie MacDonald of Upham, wife of Stewart MacDonald occurred March 10, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Saint John, daughter of Lloyd Morrell, St. Martins and the late Elizabeth (Hopey) Morrell. Melanie was a member of Pickwauket Lions Club. She was a former member of St. Martins Lioness Club and St. Martins Baptist Church. She is survived by her father, Lloyd; husband, Stewart; two sons, Preston MacDonald (Denise), St. Martins, Kevin MacDonald (Michelle Kelly), Edmonton, AB; four grandchildren; two sisters, Lynn Henderson (Ralph), St. Martins, Sylvia Bradshaw (Robert), St. Martins; one brother, Marlyn Morrell (Mary); several nieces and nephews including one God daughter, Sherry Bradshaw. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visitation 2-4pm and 7-9pm Friday. A Lion's Tribute will be held Friday, 6:45pm at the funeral home. The funeral will be held Saturday, 1:00pm at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Upham, with The Rev. Marian Lucas-Jefferies officiating. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
