BEGLEY, BARBARA - Mrs. Barbara L. Begley of Reading MA, USA passed away at the Winchester Hospital, Winchester MA, she was 85. Born in Watertown, MA she was the daughter of the late Loring and Marion (Hopkins) Matthews. Barbara was an accountant for Sylvania Electric most of her working life. Later she enjoyed her summer months with her family at her summer home on White Head Island, where her door was always open and a warm smile welcomed anyone. She is survived by one brother, Mr. Raymond (Colby) Matthews of White Head Island, NB; one niece, Kimberly Wiggins; one nephew, Mr. Raymond Matthews, Jr. (Martha) of Newburyport MA, USA; her daughter's friend and companion, Daniel Pittore; several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank; daughter, Jane; one sister, Eleanor; one brother, Parker; and one niece, Susanna. Visiting hours will take place at the White Head Baptist Church on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from the Church on Tuesday March 18, 2008 at 2 pm with Rev.
