LEWIS, BLANCHE WEALTHY - 90 of Brighton, Digby Co. passed way Monday March 17, 2008 at Digby General Hospital. Born in North Range, she was a daughter of the late Eli and Gladys (Haight) Marshall. She is survived by daughter, Linda (Stephen ) Smith, Toronto, Ont.; sons, Marshall (Melva), South Carolina; Milford (Joan) Mataquac, N.B.; brother, Gerald (Pauline) Marshall , Smith's Cove, Digby Co.; sister, Vivian (Avard) Wright, Digby; sisters-in-law, Florence Marshall, Digby and Maizie Marshall, South Range; six grandchildren; one step-grandson; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and cousins. She was also survived by her "special family", Betty and Bill Johns & Family. She was predeceased by her husband George Frederick Lewis (formerly of Centreville, N.B.); three brothers, Myron, Eldon and Eldred. Visitation 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 Friday in Jayne's Funeral Home, 7 Birch St., Digby where a funeral service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, Rev. Les Barr officiating. Committal service will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Ocean View Memorial Gardens, 715 Latimore Lake Rd., Saint John, N.B., Rev. David Nicholson officiating.
