DOROTHY SILVERDORE MCGOLDRICK
MCGOLDRICK, DOROTHY SILVERDORE - died on Sunday March 16th, 2008, gently and peacefully in her new home at the Kings Way Care Centre, Quispamsis where she was tenderly and compassionately cared for. Born on April 3rd, 1923 to the late Charles and Ethel (Logan) Williams, Dorothy is survived by her son, Richard; two daughters, Patricia (James) Hebb and Cathy Anthony; one brother, Charles Williams (Augustine); sister, Shirley Williams; sisters-in-law, Alma Williams, Kathleen Mabee and Loretta Moyer and brother-in-law, David McGoldrick; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Dorothy is predeceased by husband, Walter; son, Russell James; brother, Garnett Williams; sister, Olive Peer and stepbrothers, Homer and James Moyer. Dorothy lived most of her life on the West Side of Saint John, and in later years lived in Grand Bay/Westfield. Dorothy was an Anglican by faith and had a deep spirituality, with family being central to her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be greatly missed. Funeral arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424). Visitations will be held on Wednesday March 19th, 2008 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral service will be held on Thursday March 20th, 2008 at 2:00 pm from the Fundy Funeral Home "Chapel". Following cremation, interment will be held on Monday, March 24th, 2008, at 10:00 am in Greenwood Cemetery.
