DRISCOLL, IRENE GENEVIEVE - Of Carleton-Kirk, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on August 17, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Florence (Hanlon) Driscoll. Irene was a proud west sider and a member of the Our Lady of Assumption Parish and worked at the United store all of her life. She will be sadly missed by her sister, Madeline Eleanor (Driscoll) Ricketts; special cousin, Catherine Burhoe and a special friend, Alva Lovett. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, John Daniel Driscoll. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701) visitation will take place on Monday, March 24, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. From Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Donations, in memory of Irene, may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Cancer Society.
