LOGIE, DONALD - The death of Donald Logie of Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen and formerly of Hampton, NB, husband of the late of Mildred (Porter) Logie occurred March 21, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Saint John, son of the late Edward and Mabel (Ripley) Logie. Donald was employed by the Veterans Land Act for thirty years and the Town of Hampton for eight years. He was a member of Hampton United Church and served on many committees. Donald was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Hampton Branch No. 28; Saint Andrews Society; The Corinthian Lodge No.13, F. & A.M.; Luxor Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. of Saint John, and Royal Order of Jesters, Court No. 149. He is survived by two daughters, Heather Ann Hart (David), St. Stephen, Lynn E. Richardson (Lorne), Ottawa; one son, David B. Logie (Kaye), Cambridge, NS; one sister, Joan Taylor, Saint John; four grandchildren; two great grandsons; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one grandson, Dan. Visitation will take place at Hampton United Church on Monday from 12 - 2:00pm. The funeral will be held Monday, 2:00pm at Hampton United Church with Rev. Keith Lyons officiating. The arrangements have been entrusted to Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), Hampton. Interment in Hampton Rural Cemetery in the spring.
