LONA GRACE JOHNSON

JOHNSON, LONA GRACE - Lona G. Johnson of Canterbury, NB, wife of the late Floyd E. Johnson passed away April 1, 2008 at Carleton Manor, Woodstock, NB. Lona was born at Kirkland, York County in 1929, a daughter of the late Harold C. and Grace R. (Greer) Graham. She was a graduate of the Provincial Normal School and was a popular teacher in the Canterbury area. Lona is survived by a daughter, Valerie Healy (Mike), French Village, NB; a son, Steven Johnson, Edson, Alberta; grandchildren, Mike Johnson (Juanita), First Eel River Lake, NB, Sarah Healy, Virginia, USA and Lisa Perna (Nick), Massachusetts; three great grandchildren, Christie Johnson, Kassidy Johnson and Mike Johnson Jr.; five sisters, Joyce Barr, Fredericton, NB, Marie Calder (Ted), Campobello Island, NB, Sherill Kinney (Tom), Fosterville, NB, Cecily Fredericks (Reg), Saint John, NB and Raelene Theriault (Raoul), Fredericton, NB; three brothers, Glen Graham (Sylvia), Fosterville, NB, Dennis Graham, Ontario and Wayne Graham (Connie), Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Lona was predeceased by two brothers, Keith and Larry Graham. Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Roger Urquhart officiating. A reception will follow at the funeral home. Interment will be later at Canterbury Cemetery.
