THOMPSON, CECIL LEONARD - The death of Cecil Leonard Thompson of Saint John, NB, occurred on Monday, March 31, 2008 at the Kennebec Nursing Home. Born in Barnesville, NB on December 4, 1919, he was a son of the late Leonard and Jennie (Rodgers) Thompson. Cecil had been a Lumberman and Farmer and worked winters at the Port of Saint John. Survived by a sister, Doreen (Oscar) Estey of Bayswater, NB; a brother, Gerald Thompson of Barnesville; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three brothers, Howard, George and Ralph. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 1 pm. Interment will be in St. Barnabas Cemetery, Barnesville at a later date.
