EDGAR, OPAL ELIZABETH - The passing of Opal Edgar of Plaster Rock occurred on April 3, 2008 at the Tobique Valley Hospital at the age of 75. Born in Hoyt she was the daughter of the late Estey and Elizabeth Kirkpatrick. Opal is survived by her husband, Glen of Plaster Rock; one daughter Krista-Lee (Jody) Bourgoyne of Plaster Rock; two sons, David (Kathy) Edgar of Plaster Rock and Dale (Kim) Edgar of Plaster Rock; three sisters, Viola Derrah of Chipman, Ella Kirkpatrick of Hoyt and Lily Perkins of Hoyt; one brother, Ross (Lois) Kirkpatrick of Hoyt; one brother-in-law Lloyd Reid of Dartmouth; eight grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents; two sisters Erma Kirkpatrick and Ruth Reid. Resting at Family Worship Centre in Plaster Rock with visiting hours on Saturday, April 5, 2008 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at 11 am with Rev. D.H. McKillop officiating. Interment in Bayview Cemetery, Hatfield Point. Memorial donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
