FOLKINS, FLORENCE ESTELLA - The death of Florence Estella Folkins, wife of the late Walter G. Folkins, occurred on April 3, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Saint John, September 16, 1918 she was the daughter of the late Joseph Stephen and Mary M. (Ellsworth) Snodgrass. She was a life long resident of Saint John North and was a very active member of Portland United Church over the years. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Pythian Sisters. She is survived by her daughter Donna Folkins (Charles McNutt) of Vancouver, BC, and her grandchildren Kendra and Conrad McNutt. She was predeceased by her sister Edna Pearson. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 1:00 pm from Brenan's Chapel. Interment at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
