It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frank Marshall announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 8th, 2008 at the age of 89 years. He was predeceased by his son Carl and mother Lucy. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 60 years Alma, two sons: David (Linda) and Chris (Janice) of Corner Brook;three daughters: Pauline Thornhill (Donald), Irene Zreick (Samir) of Corner Brook and Madonna Eason (Ernie) of Manuels, 14 grandchildren: John, Stephen, special grandson Michael, Carl, Jason, Natalie, Angelina, Jennifer, Ronnie, Joshua, Christian, Jim, Paul, Sarah and 13 great-grandchildren, three sisters-in-law: Mary Walker, Marjorie Crann and Marlene Fudge, brother-in-law Edward Hunt. As well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre¹s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark¹s Avenue on Thursday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 11th at 1:30 PM from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Townsite. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
