MARR, FLORANCE - The death of Florance Emily Marr, wife of the late Donald Marr occurred on Thursday April 10, 2008 at Kingsway Care Center. Born 1924 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Welbert and Alvina (Schofield) Burnside. Florance is survived by one son, Donald Marr (Shirley) of Saint John; three daughters, Gloria Sargent (Archie) of Moncton, Donna Curran (Chuck) of Toronto and Carol Marr (Joe) also of Toronto; sisters, Mabel Richard of Saint John, Helen Allen of Rothesay, Joyce Collins (Chuck) of Richmond and Vie Allan of Fredericton; sisters-in-law, Gertrude Burnside of Saint John and Novella Burnside also of Saint John; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Florance was predeceased by brothers, Arthur, James and David Burnside; and sister, Ruth Burnside. At Florance's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held at Ocean View Memorial Gardens on Wednesday April 16, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Florance may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
