JAMES EDGAR LANGILLE

LANGILLE, JAMES EDGAR - James Langille of Saint John died at the Saint John Regional Hospital on April 16, 2008. He was born in St. Martins, NB, son of the late Wendell and Lillian (Cairns) Langille and was the husband of the late Dale (Love) Langille. In James' earlier years, he was a Police Officer with the Saint John Police Department. Most recently, he worked as the Marketing Director for Albert's Distillers for 28 years until his retirement. James enjoyed hunting and loved boating and fishing on the Saint John River. He also loved St. Martins very much. James is survived by a special friend Louise Hewitt; two daughters, Doreen MacDonald (Mike) of St. Martins and Beth Blois (Duke) of Upper Golden Grove; two brothers, Dave Langille (Valerie) and Norm Langille (Valerie), all of Saint John; four sisters, Bev Langille, Barb LeBlanc (Joe), Sharon Guitard (Joe) and Valerie Smith (Wally), all of St. Martins; two granddaughters, Lydia and Emma Blois; as well as several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Cavanagh Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712), from where the service will be held on Saturday April 19, 2008 at 11 am, followed by interment in St. Martin's Community Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm as well as Friday 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Donations to Palliative Care SJRH or the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
