PROCTOR, RUBY M. - The death of Ruby Madeline Proctor of Marysview Seniors Facility and formerly of Sussex Corner occurred on April 17, 2008 at the Sussex Health Centre at the age of 73. Born in Colpitts Settlement, a daughter of the late John and Louise (Carson) Geldart. Ruby was the wife of the late Philip A. Proctor, who passed away in 1999. She is survived by her daughters; Melba Proctor and Mary Maxwell and her husband Michael, both of Sussex Corner; grandchildren Allison (Christine) of Red Deer, AB, Jeremy Maxwell of Sussex and Jonathan "Merv" Maxwell of Fredericton, and great granddaughter, Virgina; sisters, Laura Russell (James) of Salisbury, Olive McFarlane of Havelock, Emma Hopper of Salisbury and Rosie Burgess (Vincent) of Riverview; sister-in-law, Betty Geldart of Salisbury and many nieces and nephews. Ruby was predeceased by a daughter, Helen Allison and brothers, Clarence, Frank and Lloyd. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex, (506-433-2133) on Saturday from 3 to 8 PM. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 2:00 PM at St. Mark's Anglican Church, Sussex Corner. Interment will be at Trinity Cemetery.
