NORTHRUP, GERALD ERNEST - The death of Gerald Ernest Northrup, 81, of Fox Hill, NB and formerly of Belleisle Creek, NB, occurred at the St. Joseph's Hospital, Saint John, NB, on Sunday, April 20, 2008. Gerald was the husband of Hattie (Ness) Northrup and the son of the late Percy and Adele (Hughes) Northrup. He is survived by his wife; daughters, Mary Folkins-Samson and Michael Samson of Fox Hill and Tracy and David Baxendale of Fox Hill; sons, Mark and Pattie Northrup of Fox Hill, Brian and Lorraine Northrup of Sussex Corner and Bill and Dawn Northrup of Fox Hill; grandchildren, Callie Northrup, Bret, Jade, and Reese Baxendale, Kayla and Alyssa Northrup and Garret Folkins; sisters, Alice and Francis Kellier of Belleisle Creek, Frieda and Allan Ness, Belleisle Creek and Jessie Patterson of Hampton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Eldon Northrup; sister, Hazel Neill. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB with visiting from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm. on Thursday, April 24, 2008, from St. Paul's United Church, Sussex, NB. Interment will be in St. Simon and St. Jude's Cemetery, Belleisle Creek, NB.
