FRANCES MADGE (NEE ANTHONY) LITTLE

LITTLE, FRANCES MADGE (NEE ANTHONY) - Died peacefully, in her sleep, at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Monday, April 21, 2008 and has gone on to be in the presence of her Lord and Savior. Born in Saint John in 1920, Madge was the daughter of the late James O and M Winnifred Anthony also of Saint John. She was a member of the Fundamental Baptist Church (Saint John West). Earlier in her life she was a WREN with the navy and enjoyed needle work, sewing, skating, trailering and church activities. She is survived by her husband Allen Douglas; a daughter, Heather (Mrs. Richard Wallace); two sons, Tim (Beverley) and David (Sally), both of Halifax; ten grandchildren and a sister Helen Anthony, of Saint John. She was predeceased by a daughter Elaine (twin to Heather), five sisters, Lillian Morrisey, Mable Kierstead, Grace MacVicar, Mary Anthony, and Lois Norr; six brothers, Nelson, Lloyd, Edwin, Milton, Douglas and James. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from the Fundamental Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Donations, in memory of Madge, may be made to the Fundamental Baptist Church Building Fund. www.castlefh.com
