ALWARD, EILEEN FLORENCE- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Eileen Florence (Humble) Alward which occurred on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Florence and William Humble. She was a homemaker and her children and her grandchildren were her whole world. She was a caring, loving person who would give help whenever she could without expecting anything in return. She is survived by one daughter, Florence (Douglas) Morine, and sons, Art (Karla) Alward, Jack (Linda) Alward, Albert (Sherry) Alward, and Joseph (Carrie) Alward, all of Grand Bay-Westfield; grandchildren, Brent (Chrissy), Brian, Alex and Jared; brother, Dick Humble of Saint John; sister, Jean Kertin of Fredericton and Shirley Charters of Cold Lake Alberta; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Bert and sons, William and Brian; as well as, several brothers and sisters. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home (634-1701), 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West. Visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from "Fallsview Chapel" on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Ext. Cemetery. Following the interment, a reception will take place at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre.
