VIRTUE, MURIEL- Muriel Virtue of Plumweseep, passed away on April 22nd at the age of 78, she was the daughter of the late Otty and Florence (Pace) Lewis and the wife of the late Doug Virtue. Muriel is survived by two daughters, Debbie Snider (Willis) of Smith Creek and Donna Dunfield (Kevin) of Cornhill; six sons, Ray (Phyllis) of Plumweseep, Dave (Wendy) of Ontario, Bernard (Ida) of Norton, Leonard (Katie) of Arizona, Wayne (Joyce) of Wards Creek and Kevin (Wendy) of Sussex; five sisters, Betty Hart (Phil) of Miramichi, Violet Lewis of Midland, Leila Sabean of Ontario, Ruth Nagel of Hynes Corner and Eva Quigley (Charles) of Kingston Peninsula; two brothers, Gordon and George both of Saint John; twenty grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; her brother-in-law, Bernie (Donna) of Penobsquis; as well as several nieces and nephews. Muriel was predeceased by her sister, Hazel and two brothers, Freeman and Clarence. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A Celebration of Muriel's life will be held from Salvation Army Community Church on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Kirk Hill Cemetery. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
