ALLEN, DOUGLAS JOHN - Douglas Allen of Saint John died peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on April 24, 2008. Husband of Brandie (Weir) Allen and son of William Allen and Pamela Dean. Douglas was born in Kingston, ON but grew up in Saint John. He was employed with the Irving Oil Refinery as a process operator. He much enjoyed four wheeling in his jeep and was a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Surviving besides his wife and parents are two sons, Dylan and Marshall; one daughter Mackenzie all at home; one brother, William Allen (Lisa) of Quispamsis. Resting at the Cavanagh Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) with visiting on Saturday 7 to 9 pm and Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at The First United Pentecostal Church (130 Mark Drive) on Monday April 28th 2008 at 3 pm. Followed by a reception.
