OSBURN, ARTHUR LEONARD - The death of Mr. Arthur Leonard Osburn of Grand Bay - Westfield, companion of Marion Allaby, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on April 28, 2008. Mr. Osburn worked for many years at John A. Kennedy before retirement. He was born in Saint John on April 1,1935. Mr. Osburn is survived by two sons, Mark Osburn of BC, and Brad (Laurie) Osburn of Norton; four sisters, Mary Hall of Grand-Bay - Westfield, Lil Kilpatrick of Wirral, Jeanette Staddon of Ontario and Barb Von Richter of Miramichi; one brother, George Osburn of Alberta; daughter-in-law, Jocelyn Osburn; step-sons, Skippy Saunders and Ronald Saunders both of Saint John; several grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by Marion's children Kim (Chris), Sue (Steve), and Tim. He was predeceased by his wife Helen; son Harold; and brother Ozzie. Arthur's family would like to extend their gratitude to the Doctor's, nurses and staff of 4B South of the Saint John Regional Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion. By his request, there will be a private graveside service at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery on Thursday at 2 pm.
