TAMLYN, LOUISE MARGARET - The death of Louise Margaret Tamlyn of Hampton, wife of Donald Tamlyn occurred May 3, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in River John, Pictou County, NS, daughter of the late Hector and Jean (Henry) MacKay. Louise was a Bank Manager with Scotia bank before retirement. Louise enjoyed RVing, her winters in Florida and making and selling crafts. She is survived by her husband, Donald; one daughter, Karen Tamlyn (Larry Clements), Fredericton; two sons, Michael Tamlyn (Diane Martin), Halifax, NS, Jeff Tamlyn (Wendy), Largo, Florida; four brothers, Gordon MacKay (Eleanor), Donald MacKay (Joan), Frank MacKay (Jemima), and John MacKay (Janice), all of Pictou, NS; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by brothers, Charles and David MacKay. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visitation 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm, Tuesday. The funeral will be held Wednesday, 2:00pm, at Hampton Baptist Church. Interment in Hampton Rural Cemetery. Memorials to NB Lung Association or donor's choice would be appreciated.
