GRAY, DONALD - Donald Hanford Gray 72, of Salisbury passed away May 7, 2008 at the Moncton Hospital following a sudden illness. Born in Portage Vale he was a son of the late Hanford and Gwendolyn (Hatfield) Gray. Don was a financial advisor with Sunlife Financial (31 yrs.) and prior to that was employed with the N.B. Department of Transportation. He was a member, former deacon and had served on a number of committees at the Salisbury Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Salisbury Lions Club, Petitcodiac Valley Golf and Country Club, was an avid bowler and outdoorsman. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 50 years Erma (Carter); his children, Douglas of Moncton, Norman (Sandra) of Sommerville, Cathy Merrithew (Web) of Salisbury, Marlene Johnstone (Brian) of Sackville; cherished grandchildren, Stephanie, Ashley and Amy Merrithew, Zachary Gray, Brittany Johnstone; step grandsons, Devin and Darryl Johnstone; step-granddaughter, Janna Buchanan. Survived also by his sister, Lillian Crawford of Sussex; sister in law, Pauline Carter of Salisbury and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers in law, Harold Crawford and Roy Carter. Visitation at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) on Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Salisbury Baptist Church on Saturday, May 10 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark Smith officiating. Interment at Pine Hill Cemetery, Salisbury.
