CLIFFORD HACHEY

HACHEY, CLIFFORD- It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Clifford Joseph Hachey husband of Elvina (nee Arsenault) of Latimore lake Road on Friday May 9th, 2008 a the Saint John Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Joggins, N.S in 1946 to the late Clovis and Laura (Meunier) Hachey. Clifford was a letter carrier for the Canadian Postal Service for over 30 years retiring in 2007. Devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend; Cliff loved music, playing the guitar, enjoying time at the cottage and most of all time with family and friends. Besides his wife of 39 years, he is survived by sons, Gilles and Denis (Lori) both of Saint John; daughter, Gisele (Richard); brothers, Tony (Jeannette) and Rolly (Cathy); sisters, Doris (Hoyt) all of Saint John, Stella (Brian) of Minto; grand children Amanda, Robby, Sydney and Landen; several brother-in-laws; sister-in-laws; special sister-in-law, Sylvia; best friend Kevin Whalen of Saint John; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Besides his parents, Clifford was predeceased by a brother, Ovila and two sisters Linda and Rita and his special K-9 Bullit. Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424) with visitation on Monday May 12, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held from Stella Maris Catholic Church on Tuesday May 13th at 2:00 p.m. Private family interment to take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date.
