TAYS, DALE ELLIOTT- After a brief illness, Dale Tays , age 57, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2008, at Sunny Brook Hospital, Toronto, Ontario. He will be missed by a wide circle of friends and family in Ontario where he lived for many years and worked as a gardening contractor and landscaper. Dale is survived by his mother, Doris Tays of Norton, New Brunswick; sisters, Carole (John) Hreno of Winnipeg, Myrna (Don) Richards of Hampton, Maureen Tays of Winnipeg, Linda Tays of Moncton, Sheryl (Lee) Carruthers of Calgary and brother, Brian (Lynn) Tays of Mercer Settlement and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Horace Tays and brother, Kenneth Tays. Following cremation in Ontario, a funeral service will be held at Mercer Settlement Church at 2pm on May 17, 2008, followed by a reception at the Norton Municipal Building and interment at the Titus Hill Cemetery. A special thanks to the caregivers at the Sunny Brook Palliative Care Unit. Donations in memory of Dale may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of the donors choice.
