It is with great sadness that the family of the late Inez Mildred Brake announce her passing on Wednesday, March 19th, 2008 at the Palliative Care Unit Western Memorial Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving children at the age of 77 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her 6 children: Maxwell Brake, Meadows, Madonna (Terry) Boone, LaScie, Irma (Samuel) Sheppard, Summerside, Dorothy (Alex) Crocker, Trout River, Yvonne (Thomas) Snooks, Meadows and Bradley (Cheryl) Brake, Darthmouth, NS; 10 grandchildren: Nyle and Mark Sheppard, Adrian, Andre and Aaron Crocker, Jamie, Ian and Robert Brake, Marty and Marsha Snooks, 8 great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Matthew, Kelsey, Katie, Jamie, Jenna, Jake and Cole, 2 sisters: Sylvia (Ches) Brake, Meadows and Betty (Derrick) Brake, Irishtown; 4 brothers: Abe (Effie) House, James (Flossie) House, Herbert (Barbara) House and David (Fay) House all of Gillams. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Harvey Brake, Baby Brake, parents Stanley and Suzanna House, sister Bertha (Frank) Brake. Friends may visit Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Meadows on Thursday beginning 8:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday morning from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 22nd at 2:00 PM with Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Meadows. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
