AGNES ROSE (BRIGHT) HAMILTON

HAMILTON, AGNES ROSE (BRIGHT) - Passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the Ridgewood Veteran Wing. Born on January 28, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Annie (Burns) Bright. Agnes served overseas during WWII and was a decorated war veteran. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth N. (Lynne) of Rawdon, QC, and Norman (Sharon) of Fredericton, NB; daughter, Dorothy Curwin of Kingston Peninsula; three brothers, Frederick (Bertie), Thomas (Jessie) and George, all of Montreal; a sister, Dorothy (Herbert) Blevins, of California, USA; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Nelson George Hamilton and her brother, Jim. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) visitation will take place on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. where a veteran service will take place at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2008, from the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Donations, in memory of Agnes, may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation.
