It is with great sadness that the family of the late Irene White announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Sunday, March 2, 2008 at the age of 75 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 32 years, Elias (Dick) White; four step-sons: Brian (Rita) of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Paul (Rachel) of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Keith of Etobicoke, Ontario and Scott (Debbie) of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; four step-daughters: Colleen (Sylvain) Audette of Toronto, Doreen Hynes of Toronto, Beverley (Darrell) Driscoll of Jackson’s Point, Ontario and Lisa (Julian) Cassar of Etobicoke, Ontario; one brother, Clayton (Betty) Austin of Sydney River, Nova Scotia; three sisters: Ruth (Frank) Squires of Sibley’s Cove, Trinity Bay, Chris Austin of St. John’s and Adelaide Austin of St. John’s; 12 step-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 6th at 2:00 p.m. at the United Church, St. Clare Avenue, Stephenville with interment in the Salvation Army section of the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to a charity of one’s choice or the Salvation Army Church Building Fund would be greatly appreciated.
