MCCUTCHEON, NEIL - Neil McCutcheon of Saint John, devoted husband of Naomi (nee Cramm), passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family on May 24, 2008. Born 1934 in Rainy River, ON to the late Mr. and Mrs. William McCutcheon. In his earlier years Neil was in the Armed Forces serving in Germany taking leave in 1961. As a Superintendent of Construction, Neil worked on several different projects here in the Saint John area. He was also a foreman of steel setting and jack-of-all trades. Besides his wife of 52 years, Neil is survived by sons, William "Billy" and Neil Jr. (Rose) both of Saint John; daughters, Christina Murtheh (Donnie) and Georgina Kinkade both of Saint John; step-sons, Arthur (Patricia), Herb (Linda) and Eddy (Joyce); 32 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, Neil was predeceased by his brother, William. Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424) with visitation on Monday May 26th, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday May 28th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Neil can be made to the Kidney Foundation, Alzheimer's Society or to the donor's choice.
