It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ivan J. White announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at the age of 64 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Margaret and two sons: Byron (Jackie) of Corner Brook and Dion (Ann Margret) of St. John’s, two grandchildren: Evan and Mark of St. John’s. Four brothers: Martin (Sybil), Bernie (Terri), Urban (Jackie), Clayton (Rhonalda), all of Stephenville, four sisters: Linda (Leo) Cooper of Stephenville, Elaine White of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Gloria White of Grand Falls-Windsor, Vicki White of Stephenville. He also leaves to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Elizabeth White, his brother, Larus White, sister, Laura Butcher. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, January 26th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
