DAY, EDNA MILDRED (CLARK, MCLAUGHLIN) - Wife of George Day went to rest Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Carleton-Kirk Lodge, Saint John, NB. She was born in Canaan, NB daughter of the late Murray and Laura (Thorne) Clark. A member of the Lancaster United Baptist Church, Past Worthy Matron of Phillip A. Jerguson Chapter #18 O.E.S. and several church groups when health permitted. She is survived by 2 sister-in-laws; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her former husband, Freeman McLaughlin and George Day; and two brothers, Arthur and Wellington Clark. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) there will be no visitation, by Edna's request, and cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2008 from Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel" at 2:00 p.m. A private interment will take place at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, at a later date. Donations, in memory of Edna, may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Lancaster United Baptist Church Fund.
