SMITH, MR. ROBERT JOHN (BOB) - of Moncton, formerly of Grand Forks, BC, passed away unexpectedly at the Riviere du Loup Hospital on May 29, 2008 at the age of 54. Bob was born in Sussex on January 15, 1954 and was the son of the late Kenneth I. & Ruth (McLeod) Smith. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Cindy (Onions) Smith and her parents, Dave & Diane Onions of Grand Forks, BC; brothers, Lester and his wife Caroline of Lower Sackville, NS, Gary and his partner Stephanie Bell of Brookfield, NS, Willard and his wife Helena of Penobsquis NB; sisters, Doreen Hawkes of Sussex, NB, Laurine (Arthur) Raymond of Searsville, NB and Nina (Albert) Boyd of Kingston, ON; sister-in-law, Myrna Smith of Fredericton, NB as well as several nieces and nephews and many close friends. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth I. & Ruth Smith; his brother, Stephen, and his brother-in-law, Herbert. As an expression of sympathy donations made to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. A private interment will take place at Pioneer Cemetery in Penobsquis.
