It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jane Alice Wells, (nee: Shears) announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Friday, April 25, 2008 at the age of 80 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: Glenn (Elaine), Robinson’s; Paul (Maureen), Corner Brook; John (Lisa), Robinson’s, grandchildren: Stephanie, Tracey, Andrew, Shannon, Richard, Samantha; step-grandchildren: Alex and Matthew Gillis; special cousin Muriel (Alan) Chislette, Stephenville as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick, parents Richard and Audrey Shears and infant granddaughter Lisa Suzanne. Visitation will take place from St. George’s Anglican Church, Robinson’s on Sunday, April 27th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Monday, April 28, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Canon Karen Laldin officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Robinson’s. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to St. George’s Anglican Church memorial fund. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
