SCHRODER, IRMGARD - The death of Irmgard Schroder, loving wife of Herman Schroder of Quispamsis, occurred on Tuesday June 3, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1938 in Hamburg, Germany she was the daughter of the late Walter and Margot (Durrmeyer) Hortnagel. Irmgard and Herman owned and operated Chinnook Beauty Salon for many years. She was well known and loved by her many customers and friends. Besides her loving husband Herman of 50 years, she is survived by her son Tom Schroder of Edmonton, AB and daughter Sabina Armbrust (Dave) of Sarasota, Florida; grandchildren Karl and Luke; and sister Alice Schidiac of Germany. By request there will be no visitations. A private family service will take place at a later date. The family would appreciate donations made to the charity of the donor's choice.
