REGINALD GORDON ROBINSON
ROBINSON, REGINALD GORDON - The death of Reginald Gordon Robinson, age 82, husband of Marie (Boudreau) Robinson of Cambridge-Narrows, NB occurred at the Orchard View Nursing Home, Gagetown, NB. He was the son of the late Victor and Helen (Chapman) Robinson. For most of Reg's life he was a farmer and commercial fisherman in the Washademoak Lake. A very active, lifetime NB PC party member, he was one time Executive Assistant to the Hon. Bob McCready, Minister of Transport and was a Driver Examiner until he retired at age 65. Reg is survived by his wife Marie; son, George and Joyce Robinson, of Cambridge-Narrows; daughters, Debora Kantor of Cambridge-Narrows, Wendy and Grant Aune of Chilliwack, BC, and Trudy and Jim McAvity of Rothesay; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; step-sons, Kevin and Bev Fox of Calgary, AB, Peter Fox of Fredericton, Eldon and Karen Thomas of Fredericton and Floyd and Jennifer Fox of Lincoln; eleven step-grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; sisters, Robena and Alan Weatherly of Cambridge-Narrows, Louise Robinson of Saint John; niece, Lisa and Radford Neal. He was predeceased by his first wife, Lena (Wiggins) Robinson and grandson, Ben. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. Visiting will be on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 16, 2008, from the Church of the Good Shepherd, Cambridge-Narrows, NB. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Donations in memory of Reg may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd Building Fund or the charity of the donor's choice.
