POTHIER, ULYSSE ONEZIME - Ulysse Onezime Pothier passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, June 20, 2008, at the age of 92. Born in Wedgeport, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Peter and Marguerite (LeBlanc) Pothier. Ulysse worked for General Dairies and Baxter Dairies, retiring in 1981 after many years of service. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are his loving wife, Isabel F. (Carten) Pothier, of the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home; daughters, Anita Monahan and husband Murray, Sussex, Donalda "Dawn" Galbraith and husband Shayne, Teresa Gray and husband Charlie, both of Saint John; grandchildren, Donald Monahan, Allen Monahan, Sean Monahan, Ryan Galbraith, Laura Galbraith and Chris Gray; great - grandchildren, Jonathan, Megane and Emerson. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) visitation will take place on Sunday, June 22, 2008, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2008, from Our Lady of The Assumption Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations, in memory may be made to Romero House or charity of one's choice.
