SMITH, RAYMOND FRANCIS - The death of Raymond Francis Smith, age 65, of Norton, NB occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, June 22, 2008, after a brief illness. He was the son of the late F. Balney and Hazel (Bagley) Smith. He worked at Northern Telecom until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, ATVing and visiting with his many friends. Raymond is survived by one brother, Kevin and Mary Lou of Saint John; nephews Peter T. Smith and his wife Stephanie of Hampton and their children Erin and Caitlin and Michael K. Smith and his wife Jodie of Quispamsis and their son Gregor; niece, Kerry Costain and her husband Andrew of Quispamsis and their children, Megan and Kathleen; several cousins. He was predeceased by an infant brother, Edward Joseph Smith; great nephew, Conner Smith. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. Visiting will be on Monday, June 23, 2008 from 3 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norton, will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
