BOURGEOIS, MARY LOU - The death of Mary Lou (Matthews) Bourgeois, of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Robert Bourgeois, occurred on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late John Joseph and Mary (Glennie) Matthews. A graduate of St. Vincents High School and Mount Carmel Academy, she was a secretary for 20 years with the NB Power Commission. She was a member of St. Rose CWL, The Right To Life, Propogation of the Faith, the Sacred Heart League, St Anthony's Guild and volunteered with the Heart and Stroke Foundation for over 15 years. Mary Lou is survived by her son, Robert and his wife Stacy Cross-Bourgeois of Saint John and two dear grandsons, Konnor and Devon; cousins Alice Ann Monroe, Peter and Raymond Glennie of Saint John and Greg Glennie of Blacks Harbour. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Rothesay at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
