It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph Gilley announce his passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Point on Saturday, January 12th, 2008 in his 74th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Lillian (nee Starks), his son Bruce, daughter, Janine (Howard), his precious grandchildren: Bradley and Courtney. His sister: Mrs. Lucy Gill, his brothers: Bert (Lizzie), Richard (Lavern), Alex (Eileen), and Larry (Mary). His sisters-in-law Jessie (Jim), Yvonne (Gilbert), Pearl (Wendell), Edith (Arthur), Christina (Eugene), and Mae. His brothers-in-law: Stephen (Ethel), Jacob (Pat), Fred (Marilyn), George and Rocky. Many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Joseph was predeceased by his mother Mildred and father Alexander Gilley, sister Eunice, step father Adam Gill, and his brother-in-law Clyde Gill. The family will be receiving family and friends from the Anglican Church in St. Paul’s today, Monday January 14th, 2008 from the hours of 2- 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and Tuesday, January 15th, 2008 from the hours of 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m., from where also the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 16th, 2008 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James Pratt officating with the interment to follow at the Anglican Church cemetery at Sally's Cove.
