KELLY, JOSEPH FLOYD - Joseph Floyd Kelly, of Enniskillen New Brunswick, died peacefully June 27, 2008 at White Rapids Manor, Fredericton Junction. Born September 23, 1929 in Welsford NB, the eldest son of Leo Kelly and Ethyl Burns, Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; as well as sisters, June (Knorr) and Doreen (Hogan) and brother Leroy. Surviving family include his sister, Doris (Hogan). Married in 1955 to Pauline Peterson and the proud parents of four children; Dr. Tony Kelly of West Virginia (wife Joanne and children Ryan and Aryn), Rocky Kelly who died in 1995 (wife Karen and son Shane of Alberta), Frank Kelly B.Sc.Eng.,P.Eng. of Saudi Arabia (wife Cecille and son Sean) and beloved daughter, Colleen Kelly B.Sc.Nursing, R.N. who died in 2004. After a brief career in the Navy, Dad was married and spent his life providing for his family and a career employee of the Canadian Pacific Railway, as was his father. His greatest pleasures included the successes of his children and of course, his grandchildren. His greatest sadness's were the untimely and premature death of two of his children. There will be no visitation at the family's request. Floyd's funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Columba Catholic Church, Fredericton Junction on Wednesday, July 2 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Floyd's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, The Canadian Cancer Society or a donation to your local Royal Canadian Legion.
