BLANCHARD, ELDON JOSEPH - It is with broken hearts the family of Eldon Joseph Blanchard announces his passing on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1958 in Saint John he was the son of Joseph and Theresa (Gallant) Blanchard. Eldon worked for School District 8 as a School Bus Driver. He was a member of the Loyalist City Amateur Radio Club Inc. Besides his parents he is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Lynn (Parlee) Blanchard; special mother-in-law, Anita Parlee; step-son, Shawn Parlee (Tabatha) of Saint John; one granddaughter, Autumn; sisters, Susan Blanchard (Keith Bowland) of St. Martins and Esther Craig (Grant) of Saint John; several nieces and nephews and many special friends. He was predeceased by father-in-law Earl Parlee and brother Robert. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
