SIMCHEN, RITA HANNAH - 1924 - 2008 at Hotel Dieu Hospital on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 Rita Hannah Simchen of Bath passed away at the age of 84. Born in Piercemont she was the daughter of the late John Edward and Mary Helen (Griffen) Pickard and wife of the late Kurt Simchen. Rita is survived by her five brothers, James Pickard (Joyce), Gerald Pickard, Raymond Pickard (Beatrice), Clarence Pickard (Theresa) and Greg Pickard (Carmel), sister in law, Lola Pickard and many nieces and nephews that loved her very much. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Kurt, two brothers, Thedore and John Francis. Visitation will be held at Kilcollins Funeral Home, Bath with visitation on Thursday, July 10, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 11, 2008 from St. John the Evangelist Church Johnville at 11:00 am. Rev. David Fulton as celebrant.
