FISHER, NAIDA ANITA (NEE RANKINE) - The death of Naida Anita Fisher occurred on Friday, July 11, 2008 at the Northland Pointe Nursing Home, Port Colborne, Ontario. Born in Browns Flat on March 30, 1912, she was the daughter of the late James and Lulu Rankine. She is the widow of Douglas Fisher and is survived by her three children, George and Sheila Sands, Scarborough, ON, Linda Sands of Oakville, ON and Clyde and Verna Sands of Sussex Corner, NB; six grandchildren; and her two nieces, Carole Dianard and Kathryn Bridgeman. She was predeceased by her first husband, George Lewis Sands and her sister, Patricia Marks. Following cremation, a private interment will be held at Browns Flat Cemetery.
