PATTERSON, ESTHER EDNA - Esther E. Patterson of Harvey Station, NB passed away July 11, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Back Bay, NB, she was a daughter of the late Hazen and Margaret (French) Barrett. Esther loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed the company of her many friends. She was an active member of Knox Presbyterian Church. Esther is survived by a daughter, Rhona Chase (Ralph), Fredericton, NB; two sons, Robert Patterson (Sherry), and their children, Amber and Vanessa, Dale Patterson (Kathy) and their children, Chad and Kelsie, all of Harvey Station, NB; two sisters, Hughena Perley, New River Beach, NB and Rhona Hooper (Paul), Saint John, NB; a brother, Colin Barrett (Joyce), Fredericton; a special friend, Gib Whittaker, Harvey Station, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Esther was predeceased by her husband, Glenwood James Patterson in 1986, three brothers, Russell, Lloyd and Glenn Barrett and two sisters, Audrey and Virginia Barrett. Visiting hours will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 2412 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the church on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. Interment in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Hooper, Dennis Patterson, Doug Findlay, Murray Moffitt, Jonathan Kierstead and Blair Watson.
