SULLIVAN, HELEN A. - The death of Helen Sullivan, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 18, 2008. She was born in Saint John on January 21, 1917 to the late Cornelius and Isabella (Whelpley) Sullivan. Helen worked first at the MRA's Department Store before retiring as the Supervisor of Housekeeping at Centra Care in 1982. Helen is survived by her good friend, Madeline O'Leary and her son, Michael O'Leary (Brenda) both of Saint John West and her cousin, Patricia Trecartin of Saint John. Besides her parents Helen was predeceased by her brother, Cornelius Sullivan. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425), with visitation Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The mass of Christian burial will be held from Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church on Monday, July 21, 2008 at 12 noon. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
