MCMACKIN BISHOP, EVELYN - Evelyn Marion McMackin Bishop of The Glades passed away Sunday, July 20th at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Gladys (Glidden) Tingley. Evelyn was a retired Nurses Aid at Jordan Memorial Home and a member of St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church. She will be missed by her husband, Clyde Bishop; daughters, Phyllis Seely (Parker) of Petitcodiac, Irene McMackin of Riverview, Tammy Ames (Richard) of Mactaquac; sons, Philip (Vivian) of Miramichi, Kenneth (Marilyn) of Salisbury, Hal Thomas (Agnes) of The Glades, Terry (Susan) of The Glades, Richard (Shelley) of Riverview; grandchildren, Shannon, Candace, Bobby, Kevin, Johnny, Melissa, Katie, James, Rachel, Luke, Natalie, Daytona, Logan, Noah, Kennedy; several great grandchildren; stepchildren, Betty, Edna, Lloyd and Ingrid; sisters, Frances Devine, Marina Buchanan, Ethel Payne and Patricia Devine; brothers, Perley, Walter and Mirnsey; several nieces and nephews; predeceased by her first husband, Thomas (1994). Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Wednesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Parish Prayers will be at 8:30 p.m. The funeral will be held from the St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church Thursday, July 24th at 10 a.m. with Rev. Father Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be at the Goshen Cemetery Friday morning.
