It is with great sadness we announce that, Laura of Dartmouth passed away on March 27, 2008 at the QEII Health Science VG Site after a short battle with cancer. Born in Corner Brook, NL she a daughter of the late William and Mary (Gushue) Buckle. Laura was an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Centennial Branch #160. She enjoyed travelling and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband Kevin, daughters Karen Vandekieft (Rick), London, Ontario, Chris Penney (Bob Kelly), Dartmouth, grandchildren, Kristen, Matthew, Jillian, brothers, Ned (Marion), George (Isabelle), sister Marg all of Corner Brook, NL, sister Nellie Kelly, Grand Falls, NL, sister-In-law Jean Buckle, Corner Brook, NL, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Kevin, sisters Joan Buckle, Mary Moulton. Visitation will take place in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St. Dartmouth on Saturday March 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2:30, Rev. Patricia Malin officiating. Burial in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Reception will follow in Centennial Branch Royal Canadian Legion 703 Main St., Dartmouth.
