JOWETT, CATHARINA M. - The passing of Catharina Jowett of Saint John, NB occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, July 26, 2008 in her 90th year after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Born in The Netherlands, she was a daughter of the late Lambertus and Johanna (Geul) Feelders. Survived by her two daughters, Patricia Jowett of Saint John and Maureen Jowett (Reg Cox) of Maquapit Lake, NB; three grandchildren, Gail and Joshua Cox and Wendy (Steve) Craft; and two great-grandchildren, Megan and Danielle Craft; many good friends, in particular Gerri and Dot; several nieces and nephews in Holland. Predeceased by her parents, two sisters and a brother. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated from St. Peter's Church, Clarendon St., on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 11 am. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Sand Cove Road.
