RODGERSON, WILLIAM THOMAS - The death of William Thomas Rodgerson of Salt Springs, widow of Hazel (Kennedy) Rodgerson occurred July 30, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Willow Grove, son of the late Edgar and Helen (Garnett) Rodgerson. Bill enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by five daughters, Christina Garnett (Doug), Garnett Settlement, Jane Rodgerson (Ken Smith), Saint John, Darlene Tobais (Gary), Upper Loch Lomond, Rose Kinden (Duncan MacKenzie), AB, Star Wilson (Ray McDonald), Moncton; three sons, Bill (Linda), Saint John, Dan (Marilee), Sussex, Dean (Anita), Salt Springs; six sisters, Laura Beckwith, Saint John, Edna Rathburn, Saint John, Alice Kennedy (Charles), Grand Lake, Hazel Rodgerson, Saint John, Donna Cyr (Dennis), Quaco Road, Isabel Rodgerson, Saint John; one brother, Bruce Rodgerson (Judy), Saint John; fourteen grandsons, eleven granddaughters, thirteen great grandsons, four great granddaughters, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Albert, Leonard and Doug Rodgerson and brother-in-law, Del Rathburn.. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visitation 7-9pm Friday and 2-4pm & 7-9pm Saturday. The funeral will be held Sunday, 3:00 pm at Central Norton United Baptist Church, Bloomfield, with Rev. Rob MacCallum officiating. Interment in Salt Springs United Baptist Cemetery.
